Bank of Baroda (BOB) has released the BOB Local Bank Officer Recruitment 2026 notification for the appointment of 2482 Local Bank Officer (LBO) vacancies on a regular basis across 20 states of India. This BOB LBO Recruitment 2026 drive, issued under Advertisement No. BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/16, invites applications from eligible Indian citizens who are graduates with at least one year of post-qualification experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank.

BOB Local Bank Officer Age Limit
The age limit indicated below is for General category candidates as on the cut-off date of 01.08.2026.
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
BOB Local Bank Officer Important Instructions
- Candidates can apply for only one state; multiple applications will result in forfeiture of fees for extra registrations.
- No change of category is permitted at any stage after registration of the online application.
- Candidates must possess a valid personal email ID and mobile number, kept active till completion of the recruitment process.
- Candidates are advised to possess or acquire a valid Aadhaar card, as Online Aadhaar verification will be conducted at various stages.
- Biometric data/IRIS scan and photograph will be captured and verified before the online examination, at GD/interview, and at the time of joining.
- Mobile phones, pagers, calculators, or similar devices are not allowed inside the examination premises.
- Selected candidates will be posted within the state applied for the first 12 years of service or until promotion to SMGS-IV grade, whichever is earlier.
- Selected candidates will be on probation for 12 months from the date of joining.
- Selected candidates must execute a Service Bond to serve a minimum of 3 years, or pay an amount equivalent to three months' gross salary (not exceeding Rs. 2 Lakhs) if they leave before completing three years of service.
- Any legal disputes arising from this recruitment fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts/tribunals in Mumbai.
